I watched my friend get stabbed in the brachial artery, it was like a movie. Stan couldn’t of been more then an inch or two deep and an inch wide, blood shot out 2-3 feet, his eyes were opened wide with disbelief. He crumbles to the ground saying he wants some fruitista freeze(we were in front of Taco Bell), no one knew what to do but me. I managed to get him a tourniquet on without the minute and gave him enough time to get picked up by an ambulance. He would of bleed out before the ambulance ever got there if it wasn’t for my make shift tourniquet. First aid training pays dividends, a few hours of your time can save a life.

uhh i remember when my femur snapped whole thigh went black. im happy that our emergency units were fast enough to get me ER.

Ortho surgeons back in the day, were basically college athletes that couldn’t make it, they do anything for money telling patients they need this procedure when in reality they don’t. I learned a lot from my mother who was in a relationship with the team surgeon for the Chargers. Medical industry it’s funny…..

So think about that for a second, the main artery that runs down to your legs and feet. Now think about how patients with heart failure get swollen feet and poor circulation in their feet. Imagine how clogged and blocked their arteries are for one of the biggest ones not to work correctly.

I probably would be dead very quickly... Having an average pulse of 110/min (but perfect blood pressure, and the docs found no reason for it) and adding the stress of being injured? Blood fountain 😂
