I’m a Psychiatrist and I love my Psychologist colleagues very much! We are far better trained in drugs and drug management than psychotherapy while our Psychologist colleagues are far better trained in psychotherapy. There is also a difference between psychiatric and psychological assessments and testing. In the end we both work as a team.

People need to realize that not everyone has the aptitude for medical school. No shame in that. We’re all built different.

Psychologists are researchers after all, medical school does not train you to be a researcher. Why would I need to learn about the entire human body while my interest only lies within a specific area?

One needs to understand the high student debts for medical school and degrees are quite abysmal, because of your salary you're immediately going to be seen as middle class and won't receive certain government benefits like everyone else, and on the other side you barely have any time to get to spend with your family, and due to work imbalance it could end up ruining your personal relationships. I barely got to see my dad when he was young and he worked more than got to spend time with us, at least he tried his best, he knew his sacrifices.

People fail to understand that I feel dizzy LOOKing at BLOOD ( they tell me to get over it)
And I hate medicines of any kind….(I will sleep through a headache but not take a
Painkiller)
Being a doctor is soo not for me..
