I made these once and they were amazing I completely forgot about them until I saw these again show up on my recommended

In the southern United States we call them potato cakes. But we don’t use bread crumbs, just flour. And we also mix the egg directly into the potato. I’ve seen different families cook it a bit differently, but that’s my family’s way. Then you serve it with some sour cream and chives 😋

Ngl, I just made these, but I should've gone with your recipe! Mine kept being sticky when I would roll them up. So I added flour 😅 and the inside, came out gummy? Or pretty much, chewy in the middle 😭 oh well, I'll try yours another day. Thank you.

If I were her I'd add more than just some damn sugar I'd at least would've at least put some. Seasoning salt, garlic powder, pepper or my favorite my ever since I cane across is the powdered ranch seasoning that seasoning is so damn good.
