Does An Electric Toothbrush Remove More Plaque?

preview_player
Показать описание
Yes, an electric toothbrush will remove more plaque than a manual toothbrush if used correctly.

The main reason an electric toothbrush can remove more plaque is the consistent speed and motion of the brush head generated by the motor in the brush. This is something that the human hand/arm simply cannot compete with.

You don't need to use an electric brush to clean the teeth, a manual brush is fine.

But, when studies have shown that you can gain significant health benefits, why wouldn't you?

I love that I stumbled across a youtube channel full of toothbrush reviews. Which makes me weird, but hey, it makes oral health less of. Subbed.

Electric toothbrushing is so addictive and satisfying, I don't know I really feel good everytime after I brush my teeth with it.

i started using this week.. it is bit pricey over manual toothbrush but i can say brushing teeth is now more fun than never. i spent 2 3 min tops brushing my teeth with electric but with manual, i only spent only 30 second. more time spent brushing teeth more clean.

Oral b works better than Sonicare. Due to the fact that Oral b round brushes adapt to the teeth better than sonicare. The only thing you gotta do with an Oral b is to hold it over a tooth surface.

Tried the oscillating Oral-B brush but it started to cause notches on my teeth within 6 months. The indicator never went off once to say that I was brushing too hard and you have to push it against your teeth rather hard to even get it to light up and slow down. Far too powerful either way I find.

I have a electric toothbrush but a regular one works better for me because I can get to the bottom part of my teeth better and it's harder with electric I also have braces

Fiest time tried an electric toothbrush (Oral-b pro 750) .
Downsides : The feeling is not so pleasant. The vibration of the brush sends the toothpaste flying in all directions, so you're forced to cover somehow, but then I don't see exactly where on the treth is it cleaning.
2. Difficult to control
Pluses:
1.I'm not working so much, not at all in fact, comparing to a manual one.
2. Plaque is removed more efficiently

I like manual brush, but I need to upgrade my skills with it and do it correctly.

Like someone said in the comments, i also have the Fairwill toothbrush which only vibrates but it does not spin like the one from the video, is this still as good as a spinning one?

They say if you brush your teeth too much that you can wear your teeth down more quickly. My question is, do electric toothbrushes wear your teeth quicker overtime due to the increased brushing over the tooth surface? They remove more plaque yes, but do they wear your teeth quicker in the process??

Some people prefer Cheaper and Manual Toothbrush if money is more important, or they're in Poverty.

I wish someone would come up with teeny tiny silicone or rubber squeegee like teeth cleaners . I find that toothbrushes don’t actually remove plaque, it just moves it around on the teeth . I often have to use my fingernail to scrape it off my teeth but that’s too hard to do for each tooth .

Does it apply for the D7 Fairywill toothbrush? I feel like this specific model just vibrates and makes my teeth sensitive, and I am the one doing the work while other brands you just hold it on each tooth to be clean out.
