Really good video because I like how you showed research papers for each of the 3 general conclusions. Rather than just depending on your credentials. Also, I agree that you would have a hard time messing up choosing one or the other and it’s really down to preference and what you will be using often. I guess technique and frequency of brushing plays a larger role in oral hygiene than fancy Bluetooth connectivity.

With proper technique you’d do really well with a simple, old manual toothbrush with all the technological improvements we take for granted in those ubiquitous dental implements.

Lastly, I like how you went right to the topic being discussed.

Perfect, this is exactly what I was looking for. I'm using a dirt cheap Watsons oscillating brush (MYR 35, about 600 rupees) and was wondering about the Realme N1 at the same price. Like you, I feel like the oscillating one would work better since, well, the oscillating bristles physically move further (~2mm?) than the vibrating bristles (~1mm? less?). But at this price I suppose I could just try it. Good to know that the science is split on this, didn't know they even did studies on this lol. Anyway. Thanks for the video.

Hello Respected Sir,
Today I have completed my root canal treatment on my front incisors, due to an fracture, but I haven't applied a crown yet. Can you advise me on whether I can use an electric toothbrush? If yes, which one would you recommend: Sonic or Oral-B? Your quick response to this concern would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Not getting brush heads for Realme m1 since more than a year now. For new buyers, please stick with brands which mainly concentrates on this type of products such as Oral B, Philips etc. Don't trust brands like Realme, Mi. If they face loss, they will just discontinue the product and do not care to provide support for existing customers. They simply say product is discontinued and you can buy new product.

I am back to oral-b but the cheapest version using AA sized batteries (but I made a hack to make it use lithium ion). The sonic/vibrating tootbrushes die easily due to water damage or motor dying. The Oral-b has big motors and I don't remember those dying, only water ingress but those are very old models-earliest models of the oral b electric.

I wouldn’t trust studies as they can have certain interests in companies, personally I have used oral b for decades and have just started using sonicare and I couldn’t believe how much better the sonicare works for me, at the end of the day both are more effective than just normal toothbrushes.
