Enjoyed the video but these things are so hard to digest. Thor is a shadow of himself in the movies compared to canon Thor. You're right mostly - Mjolnir acts as a conduit for Thor, and gives him access to some of his more exotic abilities. However, he easily able to summon Lightning, control weather, etc without it.

Anyway... I could prattle on for ages but the point is its borderline impossible to compare canon and non canon because Thor is so drastically different from comic pages to the MCU.

4:22 - Not necessarily. The net could have a far more powerful charge running through it that we think. Also, we don't know what manner of restraints that chair has, it could be made of vibranium, adamantium, etc, and Thor also could be playing the long game and not breaking out, simply to see how the scenario plays out.. All I'm saying is don't make assumptions based just on appearances.

Awesome video Dash! I hope you continue talking about Marvel along with SW! But I think you forgot to mention something. Asgardians are naturally far more powerful than humans. They are stronger, faster, more skilled. In the first Thor movie I imagine Odin made Thor weaker than even an Asgardian is supposed to be. So without the hammer Thor is still a very formidable opponent.

He might not have his other powers, like flight, lightning control and the straight up might of a speeding metal Hammer (I don;t think he's displayed the "God Rays" in the MCU, so I'm not counting those), but he retains the natural capabilities of an Asgardian warrior (THE best Asgardian Warrior at that). He might not be quite as strong as Hulk but he has the advantage of skill and cunning, which will allow him to survive Hulk. Whether he'll actually beat him, that's a whole other question.

Can't wait for the movie. But in every fight that Thor/Hulk fouoght, Thor always wanted to brawl.

If he wants to, he would just 1-shot the Hulk like he has done a few times.
