Excellent video! A nice very short intro and he gets right to the point. My fuel pump failed yesterday in the 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan. Everything he listed 1-5 happened all the way to van dying while driving. Thank you sir for your knowledge and time.

These are great tips. My Walbro Fuel Pump lasted 7 years. I am driving a 96 Jaguar XJ 6 already 12 years as a daily driver with over 280, 000 miles on the engine. The symptoms are correct. In my case, my old fuel pump became very noisy, as on the old Jags between 95 -97 the single pump model, the pump is submerged in the tank, and literally you can hear it kick in when do cold start. I placed the same Walbro Fuel Pump and keep driving my car with unleaded fuel only and never going below 1/2 in my 23 gallon tank. In order to extend the life of the pump, remember keep them cold, do not run them hot, driving with low gas in the tank. Very informative video.

Couldn't start my 1998 BMW Z3 1.9 L today 99, 000 miles, later it would start, but when driving suddenly the rpm dropped off zero for a split second before recovering. Suspected fuel line clog. Your video I think is spot on. Thanks for explaining so concisely.
