I sew with needle nose plyers, to pull the needle thru, the material. I sew leather too with the sinew. I keep a stubnose set of needle nose plyers in my dresser. Have fun milling the log too. Paul in Ohio

Great Stuff and Great Shooting!! The elk stew looks amazing and you are so right about how incredible the meat looks. Congratulations again on that elk. I really like your idea for making those smaller logs to hold the log you are milling. That rippling is odd but man after that they look great and I'm really looking forward to seeing this build come together.

Sorry but those cinderblocks are not weight rated the way you have them positioned under the log frame. They go cavity up.
