That's 212 km/h in metric as I'm Canadian. Can't imagine driving or riding in a car that fast under any circumstances.

I did 140 once (at 3am with nobody else on the road), just to test how fast my car could go (bmw 550i 2011). I said a prayer and went for it. Thank god I didnt get caught. I will never do it again. The limiter stops you at 140 but with it removed 190 is possible

For some of us, speed is addictive and such an adrenaline rush. I look back at some of the speeds I used to hit on daily basis and shake my head. Glad I didn’t injure myself or someone else while doing so.

I drove like that allll the time at that age. All my friends did too, not sure how none of us got in terrible accidents or jail but i believe growing up on farms and driving from a very young age helped! Still insane looking back on it!

And this is why insurance for new teen drivers has skyrocketed. I do not even know how anyone young can afford insurance anymore. I guess its only for those with rich parents. The thing is those are usually spoiled entitled kids and the ones who cause the most trouble. Meanwhile a young person just needing a car to get to work to support herself on her own, can't afford to drive.

Meanwhile my dad let me learn on go karts starting at age 5, then taught me stick at age 12. By the time I got my driver's license I had over 10 years of driving experience lol. Also my dad taught me not to go over 100 mph in the middle of the day in regular traffic. Do it at night on a well lit freeway with no traffic, the cops won't get as mad at you trust me lol
