I'm sitting at the ARC on week 5 and watched this in class. The instructor said hands down you nailed them perfectly you just needed the "I've seen things" Recruiter. I got DA Selected but let's make the best of it! Great video!

The lying part. 🤣 my husband was promised 20k for re-enlisting. Written on paper signed and all. Never received a penny and even turned down by the pentagon. Lol 😂

I love my recruiter! He’s been patient with me and is with me every step of the way. He’s already reached his yearly quota for 2024, yet he treats me as if I’m important and not just another check for him. I will have to hit him up and chew him out about not giving me free stuff though. 🤣

My Army recruiter was a hypocrite. When asked what jobs or MOS' they offer he couldn't find a list of them! Regarding requirements, I understand that there are certain requirements to join. However, the recruiter failed to disclose anything about that either. Then he tried to say that I need top security clearances for almost every MOS, as a US citizen the recruiter treated me as I were not authorized to be in this country. Being that I was smarter than the recruiter, asked him why were there so many hidden security breaches in recent years from the military on the news. Also told the recruiter that one of his coworkers in the recruiting office was showing hypocrisy. The recruiter knew that I wasn't playing any games. I walked out of there laughing.

Several years later, the same guy was still working there.

I see them on college campuses, especially on "career days." Very few students even bother to go near their tables. I definitely don't imagine a drama major would be of any interest to them.

Circa 1993. Was given Airborne unassigned. Was told I could go Ranger anytime. After Airborne school. The Rangers asked for volunteers. I was the first one to step forward. I was asked my MOS. Was told. We only accept combat mos. What? I thought it was like the marines where everyone fights. Bummer. Next I bought all of the Airborne patches just in case. I was given my orders. Ordnance unit? What? I actually argued with the 1Sgt and told him I was Airborne and was suppose to be in an Airborne unit. Nope. The one thing my recruiter put in my paperwork was. I can take 30 days of leave every December. He needed one more recruit the day I signed up. My first unit refused to let me go home Dec 21- Jan 21. I pulled out my enlistment papers. My commander ripped them up. I told her. I have copies. Was approved. Did that for 4 years.
