I live in Zeeland Michigan, My Dad was a Plumber when he was alive, he taught me this trick using Baking Soda, instead of paying BIG BUCKS on Drain cleaners pour Baking Soda & Vinegar down your drains & let it set in there for a good 15 mins. once you pour the vinegar onto the Baking Soda it will bubble up & you'll see all kinds of CRUD & Hair coming up, after 15 mins add some more Baking Soda & then more Vinegar & let it set for another 15 mins. after that pour HOT WATER down the drain & your Pipes will be as good as new. repeat at least once a month. Hello from Belgium ! I'm using baking soda for ages and in not so well known cases like repairing (in combination with some Loctite) directly in shoes (only way for me to avoid excessive sweat) and sometimes when stomach doesn't work as it should do (replacing my daily gastric bandage drug) but I didn't know it can remove mosquito bites. I'll sure remember it next summer ! Thanks for this glorious piece of information 🙏

With all the harmful chemicals we we use, baking soda is a good and cheaper alternative for cleaning the fridge. I put some baking soda on a damp cloth and wipe the fridge clean both inside and out with not a great deal of effort. And should neutralise unpleasant odours.
