The YouTube caption is "Excel: Difference of two columns", yet seems the video was to find the student who improved the most. To me, "Difference of two columns" is showing what in one column is "different" from the other column. For instance, Column 1 has student Jason and Column 2 does not have Jason. Hence, a "difference" is Jason. Am I missing something?

Thank you for the much needed lesson. But can you tell me how to find the difference in 4 columns?

The values in the two columns are being shown to the nearest whole number by Excel but retain their original value in the "background". So 59 could really be 58.6 and 60 could be 60.45... A total difference of 1.85 which rounds to 2.
