3 empty cells in a block, where the other blocks have numbers in line with the 3 empty cells. This system often enables you to solve 3 numbers quickly. Note how I found a mistake I made showed you what i did wrong. Did you notice this?
There are more tricks involving 3 empty cells coming in future lessons. Have fun mastering easy and medium puzzles before going onto advanced puzzles.

Thanks so much for taking us "beginners" through a step-wise progression of increasingly difficult (complex) logical deductions. When I first started, I tried to devise my own methods and wound up making things way too difficult and prone to exhaustive (and exhausting ;-) mistakes. Lots of erasing and giving up ... Once you get the hang of it - solving these Sudoku puzzles is like a form of meditation.

After watching Lessons 1-10, I've been able to solve my first difficult puzzle that I found from my grandfather's newspaper when I was stuck about halfway for 2 days. There were no Cross/Meets, TMB, & LCR until I tried the matching pair(two sets of the same pair going the same direction) which helped narrow it down and create more Cross/Meets. Thank you for helping me find a new hobby that exercises the brain for boring days and I'll be continuing to watch your next lessons.
