I really believe God is good, and having satan betray Him in heaven where everything is perfect is proof that personalities with free will can go wayward even under the best circumstances

Jesus is saying to everyone who rejects him and dies in their sins and ultimately ends up in hell it would be better if that person had never been born:

Opinion: God created all people with 100% free will. He separated himself from their free will so people can choose to truly love him, or not. This is the only way for true love to exist, it cannot be forced. That being said, he also knows/knew all the choices that people make/made before they happened. Judas was free to choose and Jesus was saying that would be better to never exist than to persecute/deny God. Rough to think about, but it does give good perspective on how we should live our lives.

This strangely made sense. God did it the best possible way for God to carry out his will while still giving us free will. Now that shows God's brilliance and power if you ask me.

Without free will, true love wouldn't exsist

I love how this two are very calm and did not use insulting words in proving their point, they both have an open mind and accept each other's opinion

i would have added that it would be better for ANYONE of us to have not been born, if we willingly reject God's free offer of forgiveness

Examples of hyperbole in English:
1) I told you a million times.
2) I was so hungry I could eat a horse.
3) I was so embarrassed I could die.
4) I ate so much I could burst.
5) He would give you the shirt off his back.
6) He scared me to death.

While these expressions may or may not make sense if translated to other languages, fluent English speakers understand that they are not literal and not meant to be taken at face value.

Likewise, other languages have their own expressions that do not translate easily to English. Jesus’ words concerning Judas Iscariot is one such expression in the cultural and linguistic context of that day.

This was awesome! The question is many people's question, the answer hit the spot, especially the second part in which the lecturer schooled most of the audience that had the same human logic approach to God and his Word!

It seems like so these students always try to ask him "gotcha" questions, instead of trying to truly understand.
...Excellant response to his question btw

I like the way the teacher responded to the student and how there was mutual respect at the end.

Is it just me, or does the smarmy tone we hear often in Q & As kinda come across as the questioner not giving a rip about a valid, reasonable and thoughtful answer? Yet, this one seemed less smarmy and offered a genuine sounding 'thank you' at the end. Cool. I am encouraged.

God could've killed Eve right on the spot before she went to Adam after her meeting with the serpent. God could've also kiled the serpent right before he tempted Eve.
But as we now know God had a long term plan to redeem mankind through his Son. What love is greater than this?

I’ll just say this, God created a perfect world and then Satan put a hex on the world and here we are. The battle in the spirit world is coming over into our own plane. Be strong in the Lord

My Brothers and sister never ever forget Jehovah and Jesus is important not only Jehovah or only Jesus. Both of Them have their name in THE prayer
