Just a technical correction, in this case the engines didn't stall, the wings essentially did because they are no longer able to create the lift to keep the plane in the air due to the aircraft's center of gravity no longer being over them. The engines were screaming all the way to the ground.

Man, as a pilot (private, not commercial), that footage, and explanation of what happened just made my heart sink.

If you look deeper, the loadmaster used nylon tie wraps to mount the MWRAPs instead of chains. It took one single nylon tie to break that caused the accident.

"whatever you do, don't look this video up"

Ive seen it a billion times on those "plane crahses found on camera" or a kerosene plane crash edit.

To those who don't know, the crash looks how you expect it to look. It just crashes and a bright squished sphere looking shape explosion comes up from where it crashed. There isn't really anything much apart from that.

Rip to everyone who died on this plane crash 🕊️

The sheer terror of knowing that the *_rest of your life_* is now down to mere seconds is simply indescribable. Holy shit.

Whole context

National 102:

On board:7
Survivors:0
Deaths:7
Cause: unsecured load

Summary:
National 102 took off from an airport(I forgot the name), when the back vehicle snapped off from its straps or whatever holds it in its place and rolls back to the back(tail) of the plane. This unbalances the plane by moving the center of mass behind the center of lift(makes the plane pitch up)and the vehicle smashed through the very back of the plane and into something important(possibly avionics). The plane pitched up to a 75-85 degree angle of attack(the angle the plane is pitched up at)and stalled out( a stall is when the plane is too slow for the wings to generate enough lift for the plane to keep a consistent altitude) and crashed. A plane goes to a -60 to -90 AOA(angle of attack) because it stops going up due to lack of positive vertical speed, and goes down to a negative vertical speed to gain enough speed to exit the stall. In this case, the plane didn’t have enough altitude to level out in time, and crashed.

My prayers go out to the passengers that have passed away.

I'm just going to pick one thing in this video to correct/expand on. When you get that high of an angle, it's not the engine you're worried about stalling, it's the wing. A compressor stall happens in the engine, but it usually isn't dangerous. What you're talking about is a wing stall, in which the wing completely loses lift. Under most circumstances, it's not a big deal, but at that low of an altitude, it's extremely lethal.

Imagine how the people who witnessed that 747F felt after seeing it crash

rest in peace to all of those passengers.

So sad. R.I.P. As an airline pilot, its very frustrating to see that, cause the crew had no chance to recover it in this altitude.

The fact that usually larger planes are safer as the pilots required to fly them are required to be very experienced along with the fact that it could have been easily preventable had they checked if they secured it makes it even more unsettling.

It didn’t stall the engine. It went into an aerodynamic stall, which is TOTALLY different.

As an aviation fan, this is very sad. Its horrifying to see how one improper decision can lead to all this.
