First time doing ayahuasca | Ayahuasca trip explained

My first time doing ayahuasca was BRUTAL! It felt like a loooooong mind f*ck. Later I could see that ayahuasca gave me exactly what I needed...

But I'm also sober so I had mixed feelings about ayahuasca for a long time. This is because I learned from people in alcohol recovery that psychedelics and visionary plant medicines including ayahuasca are a threat to sobriety and count as a relapse.

I no longer believe that. I've read scientific papers on ayahuasca for trauma and ayahuasca for addiction that actually suggest the opposite.

I now see ayahuasca in sobriety (and aya in general), especially after siting with it, as a potent healing plant medicine that has the potential to uproot some of the stuff that underlies addiction in the first place including ayahuasca for trauma healing.

Of course I am not suggesting anyone take an ayahuasca trip. I'm just a chick on YouTube, not a doctor and not giving medical advice, in this video I am just sharing my ayahuasca trip experience. And I'm not saying that anyone else's first time on ayahuasca would be even remotely similar to my first time on ayahuasca...
