I appreciate this video because it helped me figure out youtube had been muted somehow! It took a little bit of adjusting on my end, since the settings looked different for me. If anyone else had that problem, it was under Settings>Privacy and Security>Content>Additional Content Settings>Sound

(Husband Bob) 1. Tried Google Browser Settings. We use Waterfox Browser. No change. 2. Tried Windows Settings > Sound > Troubleshoot > Feedback. No sound after audio driver update, at first. Windows indicated it was still rummaging around. "Please don't reboot." About 1 minute later...KABOOM! Yes, all my audio was at max. Then at 3:50 mm:ss this video audio CAME ALIVE! Sorry I cannot be more specific. System functionality seems to be under constant attack by cyber security upgrades. Thanks for the tutorial!

go to open sound setting ---advanced sound setting then go to app volume and devices and there change from default to speaker beside google chrome or whatever browser appear and enjoy

I fixed my sound problem very easily. I have an IPhone. On the home screen the volume setting was all the way down preventing any sound. Just slide your finger on the sound.

You need to update your video with one little tidbit added. I followed your troubleshooting guide with no luck but, you did mention Google Chrome at one point, which inspired me to try to switch from Microsoft Edge (my default browser) to Google Chrome. Guess what? Simply getting rid of Microsoft Edge in lieu of Chrome fixed my sound issues with Youtube.
