The more days that go by, the more I feel better about the trade. We could have lost Randle for nothing and now we have a Top 3 center who fits perfectly. Losing Big Ragu still hurts tho

KAT for his career averages more pts, Rebs and is much more efficient as a scorer. Higher 3pt, FG and FT percentages. Better playoff performer. He’s also taller making him more versatile.

Julius is a great player but is a ball stopper. Towns can play off the ball and do the same amount of work if not more. Like you said the Pick & Pop/roll with Brunson… sheesh…! I think it was a great move. Unfortunately we lost Divo, but Bridges is a major upgrade.

Guys we will be fine Donte and it seems like Randle both we unhappy with their roles. And now our roster makes more sense after Mitch went down, relax New York we will be fine. And the pick and roll/ pop game with Jalen and Kat is going to transcend our offense…

Kat was viewed in Minnesota as the second option behind Ant-Man. He was their franchise player for over five years after being drafted.
In New York, he will be at best the third option along with OG Anunoby. That will allow him to focus more on defense, passing and rebounding.
Compared to Hartenstein or Mitch Robinson, that's a huge upgrade for the NY Knicks.
To cover for the lost of Donte Divincenzo, they will need to trade away Mitch Robinson by the next February deadline.

It was a Perfect Trade … can’t wait for the Season

I knew this was gonna happen with Randle because he carried the Knicks for a few years so he was expecting to be the #1 option and he's ball dominant. So I figured the chemistry might be Shakey. It made sense to off load him. He was the odd man out in this new system.

Either you are concerned about winnning or you are concerned with your position…you can’t be concerned with both. Randle has always been about Randle

Knicks should set lineups based on matchups.
Big Man Lineup: Brunson, Bridges, OG, KAT, Mitch

Small Lineup: Brunson, Deuce, Bridges, OG, KAT

Rebounding Lineup: Brunson, Bridges, Hart, OG, KAT

The 5th person in the starting lineup should be a rotation of Mitch, Deuce, and Hart depending on the who the opposing team is.

We're still good. Jalen Brunson is who we're building around. I'm happy for Randle and Divo. They went to a good team.

We're not buying these PR releases about Randle and DiVo being unhappy, are we?

Better to trade Randle for something than lose him for nothing. 2 seasons ago many fans wanted him gone for a bag of chips 😂😂

After listening to you, I feel even more strongly that Knicks made the right move. They upgrade the team offensively in this system then they rid themselves of players who would have been unhappy and would have become a distraction and bad for chemistry. Now we don’t even know if we could have signed them to the contracts that they both wanted. Smart move.

It was easy to see. Julius earned the fans respect and had NY heart. But he was a turnover waiting to happen. Terrible handle. Bad for on court chemistry. This trade frees up a lot of court chemistry. It leaves the bench a bit light. But Thibs plays the starters mostly anyways.
