Knicks are smart not to hand out an extension to Randle at this time. First, Julius has to show he is recovered from his pretty significant injury. If he has a good year, then all parties will have a decision to make. One thing in the Knicks favor, if Randle declines his player option next summer, there will not be too many teams who have the cap space to sign Julius outright. I hope the Knicks continue to be patient and see where this goes.
