When you caulking is cold, or you have a lot of sealant to install, the battery power caulk gun is absolutely worth it.
I don’t have one, but used a coworkers Milwaukee numberous times.

Cordless caulk gun saved my hand from pumping 2 cases of landscape block adhesive in a weekend. Well worth it in my opinion. I have the Ridgid.

@The Den of Tools the electric caulk guns are real nice if you have a thick material in the tube. Also, if you have carpal tunnel syndrome like I do, it can literally be a pain saver. I'm pulling an electric trigger switch. Not leverage on a tube. You can caulk all day and still lift a cold beverage at night without a problem 😎

Cordless caulk gun pretty handy for putting in windshield urethane. Probably good for roofing sealant too I’d bet.

I am painting my house and redoing the old caulk. Went through many tubes and the ryobi cordless caulk gun was invaluable especially when high up on the ladder.

For construction adhesive the cordless caulk gun is awesome!! I had that exact model. It works great.

I'm a roofing Specialist and I've been looking for a battery powered caulk gun! The roofs I do are steep or high and I'm in full harness with ropes and a loaded tool belt because who wants to go up and down a ladder when it was scary the first time. Most of my repairs require some sort of caulking and the traditional guns are difficult to carry (I usually "holster" them with my harness or just tuck under my arm) not to mention I never fail to make a mess with it. So, the Ryobi battery powered one would really work well while requiring less "man" power that I have well, none of.

Love my caulk gun. It is a hand saver on thick stuff or when you want a smaller bead and don't cut down the caulk tube down as much. It makes a job go a lot smoother.

Incredibly meh but comprehensive situation at Costco: Porter Cable 6-piece cordless tool kit. $240 online, $230 in person. Maybe a good set to leave at a second home or to have around so two people can work at once.

I recieved that universal socket as a gift and it has saved myself from breaking things a few times. Like you said rounded stuff like stripped screws or bolts thar nothing else worked. I agree, have it in the box for those emergency times.

On the caulk gun, when I was remodeling my bathroom the sealant to waterproof the shower was really hard to get out of the tube with a manual caulk gun. Might have been nice to have a powered one for that. Usually it's not a big deal though.

That 105 piece Craftsman set was $55 in our stores in central Texas and I showed the manager where is was listed for $34 in some other stores and he met me in the middle and sold them to me for $45 each. I was good with that.

Weekend DIYer over 60 y/o here. The cordless caulk tools are awesome! I have the Ryobi and I caulked our storage building easy and quick, or at least a lot quicker than another storage building with a manual tool. I've also used it a few times on other projects.

At the nearest Direct Tools store I got a chance to look at a Rigid and it looks a little better but they had the Ryobi on sale tool only for $30.

I had to pick up that rigid drill press! Thanks

The electric caulking guns work great when using thicker caulking (ie Sika Flex) or when using bigger tubes of caulking or even sausage tubes. I do fire stop for a living and electric caulking definitely save your arms at the end of the day

I got the wen 8" joiner for 297.01. I did do the credit card hack. Worked great. I haven't had a chance to use it yet, due to running electricity in my shop right now.

Lowes had that Dewalt single bevel 12" for $220 last Christmas season with the free stand. It was also $200 recently at Home Depot with no freebies.

Not sure if you have Sams Club in your area, but they have the Walker Muffs in 4 diff colors for $39.99. Some in store still have them either the $4 off for $35.99. Great price and I personally like them more than the Howard Leighton. Look in store around camping stuff.
