The Milwaukee 2962 1/2" impact can frequently be purchased for $219 bare tool, so $249 w/5.0Ah battery is not bad but not great. My point is more that you're not really getting the battery for "free" given that the bare tool often sells for $219 rather than $249. However, speaking as someone who owns this impact, it's awesome.

Woot was pushing those power tools by Sata maybe a couple months ago and I picked up the drill and impact driver. I think they’re pretty good. Good quality build. No problems. I also have that Snapfresh blower and it’s great for blowing leaves out of the garage and off the deck but I wouldn’t expect to get much “yard” work out of it. I think my application is what it’s really designed for. I have a more powerful one for bigger jobs but the older I get, the more the leaves just end up getting mulched up in the mower.

So I just bought a house with a large shop last year and live alone. I travel for work and travel often. Lately I just started to do my own auto repair (after been quoted $850 for rear brake calipers and rotor replacement). The kobalt xtr from 2 weeks ago definitely came in handy. I went out and bought the 1/2 inch impact wrench along with the right angle impact. $270 was a good price for both for sure.
Don’t know the first thing about wood working so all the router and saws are going right above my head. Still appreciate your content regardless, helps to break up the monotony during the long drive.
I usually watch your content along side with project farm and torque test channel if I have something specific in mind. Works like a charm.

SATA is OK but PCIE is better. If you must at least go for SATA III
