Although they should have gone to prison for the crime they committed, the court should have listened to them and considered their life circumstances.
Victims of child s/a should not be punished for committing a crime out of desperation or fear.
And they have been exemplary inmates. They have been in prison for 30+ years and have done lots of good. They work with elderly, disabled and victims of abuse.

This is a mistake………………
You have “black men” who were drug attacks (crack) who were arrested and serving prison 20 years to life………for “substance abuse” Allow justice to be fair to all mankind right……..
~ A victim of abuse does not have the right to commit murder. If anyone commits murder they forfeit their life…….For vengeance is not yours saith my Lord~
