Patient: serious question about might sweat causes.
Doctor: could be anything, even cancer, but let me tell you about my chili pad for the rest of the time you’re here.
Focus up doc!

This sounds like a sales ad instead of the actual question.

The last thing I will buy will be a pad that I have to set on my smart phone at night. That thing will be on the floor in the morning anyway.

Good topic.

I would like for you to research the statement about "As it warms up before sunrise, hunter gathers awaken".
The Temperature DROPS 30 minutes before sunrise, then gradually warms back up AFTER the sun is over the horizon.

So I take testosterone by endocrinologist and thyroid meds. Blood checked every 3 months. That helped my night sweats and a lot of other things. Now that I fell back Into drinking HEAVY the nights I dont drink I sweat insanely crazy. I wake up about 3 to 5 times soaked each time. I'm guessing it's part of the withdrawal. Gosh I'm working on quitting but it's a battle. God bless all of you

Maybe go sleep on the couch, change your pillow and change your sheets to see if anything changes, before jumping straight to cancer thoughts.

I keep my AC on all year round. I know that every night for the past two years I have woken up, drenched and uncomfortable. I wish I knew what was doing this to me.

Useless info unfortunately. I've had night sweats mostly when the room was extremely cold, without eating late, without alcohol or coffee and no drugs of any kind. Stress in my point of view and experience are the main factors, even though I don't realise during the day that I have any stress at all. It occurs randomly without any apparent reason, and sometimes 4 to 5 times at night. My girlfriend used to lightly pet my arm, back or face when she noticed a rise in my body temperature and all would be grand. Doctors haven't a clue what could be the cause of it, and I've been suffering since about 5 years on and off now. Nothing to do with hormones either, and I lead a healthy life without stress. I've had a lot of stressful times and jobs in my life but never had this problem before. I'm 49 years of age, been active and involved in sport and outdoor activities my whole life. I'm sometimes scared to go to bed in the times I'm witnessing this problem, which raises the stress factor higher. My heart goes out to everyone who suffers from this problem.
Wish you all a healthy peaceful sleep.
❤️✌️

I'm a 34 year old male. I have night sweats every night. Heavy sweats. My thyroid tested fine. My room is a normal temperature. Doctors say I'm fine, but I'm clearly not

So this is actually just about a chilli 🌶 pad! No real medical reasons explained in depth! Thanks.

I am 63 years old I keep my bedroom cold yet I wake up between 1:00 and 1:30 every freaking morning soaking wet with sweat! And my pillows are so wet and blankets also that I even can't even climb back into bed. This has been going on for over 8 months and I've had it! I tell the doctor about it nothing happens use less blankets was one answer like I don't know how to stay cool. I'm at my wit's end.

Site says Ooler is shipping Apri[ 30th. I see in the questions they recommend cleaning every one to three months with their cleaner costing $8 plus shipping. Not sure why that would be necessary with distilled water.

I cannot believe they are trying to push a product !! Doctors are sadly in the same category as Estate agents and Insurance salesman.
