The PSP and Vita were ahead of their time. They came out when handheld gaming was small. Now look at the handheld market. We've got the Switch, Steam Deck and multiple other handheld PC devices out there. And Sony is starting to do the same thing with VR.

The PSP was a good success in terms of sales, PS5 is selling pretty well and while the Vita failed, it's highly regarded with a cult following who adore it's library and flexibility on soft modding the system.

PS5 is outselling even the Switch at this point. There's plenty of great games on PS5 at this point. They're relying a bit too much on third party compared to PS4, but honestly I'm not complaining.

Yeah sure… but like. Rn it’s not even failing like to this day it is not the easy to get a ps5. Yes it’s more possible but still sorta hard. I wouldn’t call that failing. Plus the lack of next gen new games is a thing that all consoles lack. Xbox only has like foriza 5 and halo (only games I can think off top of my mind that are new next gen) and meanwhile. PS5 has like a lot more next gen games compared to the other consoles. Also ps5 just has more interesting features that just makes it better then Xbox. Like the adaptive triggers, the draw board thing, the vr support, etc. As someone who both has an Xbox series x and a ps5. I definitely play the ps5 more. Plus they have there game pass equivalent to there console now so now you can’t even say that Xbox has the gamepass advantage.
