And I must add, I've never seen this explanation of a fat quarter, brilliant. THANK YOU so much better and easier to remember. I've only ever seen measurements of a fat quarter.

Love the pattern. Since I don't use a long arm quilter, I have a trick for this kind of quilt. Pick a large, overall leaf pattern fabric for the backing. Then quilt from the back! You pick out a group of leaves (all the same, or different) and put a marker, like a pinned post-it, in the ones you like. Then quilt around the leaves you picked with loops and swirls connecting them, like in your video. You don't have to be really precise following the leaves on the back, but when you're finished, the front will have a wonderful series of connected leaves that will impress everyone.

My first thought when I saw your video, "Ooh! Appliqué! I'm going to learn a new approach today!" Of course, you brilliantly suggested appliquéing on the blocks BEFORE stitching the entire quilt top together.
