lol It’s funny watching Team Conrad go up for this scene because Conrad’s “jealous.” He didn’t get distracted by Belly’s presence, like Jeremiah who was immediately fawning over her. He was distracted because Belly was going on a date. Now suddenly he’s invested. Now he’s distracted and can’t focus. Just like he was in the books.

Him: “I don’t want to go to Prom. That’s lame!!!”

Proceeds to be a miserable date, and ruined Prom.

Guys that want you because other guys want you are the biggest losers on the planet. They literally don’t know what they want. They don’t even know themselves. That’s why they are so erratic. There is such a complete disconnect from their sense of self. It also doesn’t help when they decide to rage quit their entire personality to spite their father only a couple months prior.

The thing about Conrad, he has always been in love with belly.
