I tried so hard like for a month and finally I cat suddenly made it! I was so happy to high-five him on both paws! At beginning I thought it was too hard for him. Hello! I really appreciate this channel. I am following all the steps but I'm kinda stuck on getting my cat to balance on my hand to give me his other paw for high five. (he knows sit pretty so the balance isn't the issue) he doesn't like to depend on my hand for balance he just taps my hand. Is there another way to teach high ten? Someone please help me =]

Unrelated question. I just started clicker training my two cats. But the main problem I'm facing is that when I drop or throw a treat, they have trouble finding it. My apartment is all carpet, except for a very small kitchen area, so that might be why. Do you have any suggestions as to how to get them to find the treats easier (or at least motivate them to sniff it out instead of staring at me waiting for another one)? I usually throw a second treat if they can't find the first because I don't want them to think I didn't drop one and stop anticipating it after I click. Any suggestions?

Can you help me, please? I have a problem with a step where I need my cat to give me one paw, then wait for a treat, and finally give me the second paw. The issue is that my cat gives me one paw, then eats the treat held up high, completely ignoring the second hand for a high five.

Ha! I was searching to see if you'd done this video a couple of days ago, what great timing! My boy Maine coon (only polydactyl on the front) loves sit pretty (since I taught him he's been going around the house like a giant meerkat 🤣) but his mama who is poly front and back isn't as fond (because she wants to swipe at the treat or target stick so doesn't always get the reward even though she does know what to do!)

She can actually balance perfectly for a licky treat not holding on to anything leaning forward at almost a 45 degree angle on the rare occasion that she wants to, her big Maine coon feet and rear dew claws really come in handy! But 90% of the time she wants to cheat! It's a shame usually she wants to swipe with her paw or hold on 🤣 sometimes for sit pretty she walks around me to rest one paw on the sofa and then she looks at me like, see? I'm standing up 🤣 maybe this will be the trick for her!

That tip with the treat in both hand might really help me with her, thanks!!

Ur cat is too much calm..mine see a treat nd it just hold my hand nd snatch his treat out of it nd if i tried to hold it back i get a slap directly on my hand
