This version of the Backrooms exist as a wprld in VRChat. Even a year later both me and my daughter(she was watching me play on my laptop while i had pn the headset) still have PTSD.

I hadn't even considered the effect of the hostile architecture on the human psyche. Alongside the fungal infection it certainly helps explain the severity of the psychological damage done by the backrooms!

I would love ti see this kind of essay on The Monument Mythos, my favorite Analog Horror series. Timeline, Theory and Lore Explained can all be fun, but a more substantial analysis that drives into the themes of the series is surely lacking.
