Thank you for the detailed explanation of all the moves and putting the name of the movement on screen. The best video I have seen for those of us who are not involved (dancing or a patron) of ballet, but want to get the obvious benefits of a dancers' body.

I loved this, Autumn!  I haven't done these kinds of moves since I was 11 in dance classes, and it felt good (and so different! I'm not as flexible, I guess - but the 21 Day Fix has already loosened me up).

With plies, one bends from the hips, not at the knees. The knees do bend of course. But the initial movement again comes from the hips.
With tendus, you lead with your heel going to the front, then lead back through the toes. To the back it's reverse. need to have rotation through hips and keep them as square as possible.
