My advise is get hex head or torque screws Philips screws are trash.

Stain/paint the wood before the install. Very hard to do after

Bottom rails directly against the deck with the huge high HEAL braking seams is going to rot faster than... doesn't matter it's pressure treated...just can't sit like a candle wick...poor poor poor.
