The most difficult part is the shoulder flexibility of normal person. It related to the whole quality of shoulder blade muscles.

I had this problem quite a long time ago. Never really had the oerfe t stamina and strength to recover and pull hard enough, now today im doing perfect and beautiful butterfly's like how the pros do it.

Still not as fast, just need to improve timing and endurance. After that i'll go over with efficiency.

It is important to have a good physique and good shoulder flexibility so your arms go waaayyy back when doing butterfly, basically dont let your arm touch the water in the recovery, meaning you have to put your arms as as you can go.

Similar to freestyle, finger tips first when recover.


2 kicks. And one breathe.

I like to name the 2 kicks.

The first one is "pull kick", because you pull and kick at the same time.

And "recover kick", because you have to recover and kick at the same time.
