I swear you can feel the pain from Aubrey, think seeing your childhood friends after 4 years just for them to call you a thief and then fight you, and just to really put salt on the wound you were morning the loss of your best friend in a church, and other people in the church whisper about you while this is all happening.

Now that you have that, that's what Aubrey was feeling this whole time

[ SPOILERS ]

I Cannot Describe how Goddamn hard i didnt want to actually fight in this fight, this was one of the moments where i most wished, something close to sparing like in undertale existed in this game, it just hurt, hitting Aubrey after her dialogue, after knowing what was going on with her, and each comment mid fight, just took a piece of me, I just felt really bad... man... But this is what made this fight so special, what made this fight so Rememberable, and So good, the fighting system and the ost is really good, but this fight simply has alot of story into it... Its what probably made it stuck out the most from alot of other battles in the franchise for me... Poor Aubrey man.

"The Outcast": "You don't understand what it's like... To be treated like an outcast so suddenly... To lose everything because of the people around you... To realize you don't belong in the place you once considered home... Well... I seek to get rid of the people that treated me this way, and the entire community here too, once I do, I will remake this place, into one where no one has to be treated like an outcast anymore. But... People like you... ARE IN MY WAY!"

I get that this song is from quite a sad moment but... let's be real, this song is really goddamn good

Aubrey's emotional pain is not that big compared with Sunny's pain, we know how much she suffered for this 4 years (like everyone else did), but that doesn't justify adding salt to the wound to Sunny saying " for how long have you been isolated? 3, 4 years? " she really learned how to be edgy like Kim.

This song captivates the feeling of your mind not coping with change.

My heart bleed for these characters because I can see how real their pain is. What these fictional characters went through is such a real and visceral pain. I didn't know any of the story when i played for the first time. This was the first moment in-game that i cried, full-blown.

Idk why but on my first run it was so fucking satisfying to beat her in both fights

People say Aubrey changed but she didn't really. She just put up a tough exterior to hide her vulnerability. Because nobody was there to help her, she was left to fend for herself. The sweet girl is still there. Her room is still "girly, " she has a pet bunny she takes care of. And she still feels attachment and concern for everyone. She has just been living this facade for so long, she's afraid of opening up and getting hurt again.

Honestly i feel so bad for Aubery, but people have already mentioned that. What i want to talk about is something that applies only to a few situations

*MAJOR SPOILERS*

In the Neutral endings, specifically the two endings where Basil (and in one, Sunny too) have committed suicide. Not knowing the full story of why it happened, and that they're both haunted by SOMETHING...Aubery might end up thinking it was her fault, as her misguided actions were explicitly targeted at Basil and Sunny to a lesser extent throughout the story. All she knows from her point of view is that her and her "gang" picked on Basil, and that combined with the implied death of his Grandmother, caused him to commit suicide. That must be a devastating revelation for an already damaged person...seeing the person you harassed so much (out of a misguided yet somewhat good intent) literally be dead on the floor...

yall realize by not fighting you are giving aubrey a bad name, since the church people are already judging her you are making it worse by letting her beat you up, if you beat aubrey you'll seem like the bad guy

The fact that this gives off sallyface vibes and you can feel how Aubrey feels with this music makes it truly amazing.

At this point in the game i wasn't really thinking, so I just kicked her ass for calling Sunny a psycopath.

This song would also fit for when Kel and Hero had their fight.
