I like how no matter what you choose, Omori will always give Sunny one last hug.
In the good end it means “I see you don’t need me anymore, I give up”.
In the bad end it means “It’s okay, the pain will end soon”.
After all Omori isn’t a separate evil entity, he’s just Sunny’s defense mechanism. His only purpose has always been to protect Sunny from pain, despite how extreme his methods are (suppressing all memories, choosing death to end the pain, etc)

The best part about the good ending is that it is realistic. OMORI never died or was destroyed, but instead became a part of SUNNY. True pain and grief cannot be forgotten, but can be worked through and accepted.

I finished the game today. And all I can say is, it both broke me and made feel warm. Both Sunny and Basil, and everyone else deserved better. Thank you to OMOCAT for finishing this game. Those 22 hours and 58 minutes were worth it.

I cried so much in the entire duet but when this scene comes... Omori finally vanishing and accepting tell the truth, it just gave me so much feelings that i can't explain... it was happiness and also sadness, a relief and also a pain.

this part is special in this amazing game, we passed the entire game following Sunny, we feel his feelings, and this is what make Omori so special, it's a masterpiece.

Just finished the game, and now I’m going through the soundtrack just to process it all. I’ve never had a video game experience like this before, and I don’t know that I’ll ever experience one like it again. Genuinely probably in my top 5 games of all time.
