Here I am making easy fruit scones . This recipe is very easy and will make about 6-8 delicious fruit scones Depending on your cutting form.

Fruit Scones ingredients:

- 300g Self Raising Flour
- 80g Cold Butter
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- Pinch of salt
- 30g Sugar
- 100g Dried Fruits
- 150ml Milk

Mix the Flour - Baking Powder and salt together in a bowl.
Add the cooled butter and rub in.
Add the sugar and fruit and stir.
Stir in the milk and bring to a dough.

(The idea is not to overwork the dough and to keep it light)

Roll out to about 2.5 - 3cm

Cut into scones and put on a baking tray

Bake in an oven at 200°C (392°F) for 12 - 15 mins

Thanks for your video. I plan to give it a try. Question - I realize that the recipe states the flour weight in grams (and I love it when weights of ingredients are stated in grams rather than volumes), Nevertheless, it is possible that the weight provided for the flour is simply a conversion from cups to grams using the standard conversion factor of 120 grams per cup. I have tried weighing my flour (King Arthur all purpose) scooping it up into a flat topped 1 cup measure and scraping flat across with a knife and it always comes up to 140 + grams (no matter what scale I use). Could you inform if the recipe weight is actually measured in grams and not a volume to grams conversion? Many Thanks Ron

Your scones look like biscuits, your dough is very good and easy-made so I'll give it a try and enjoy it like you. I'm sure they are very delicious. Congratulations ! I haven't seen you for a long time so I worried about you, is everything alright ? Thanks for the lovely recipe ! Emojis have disappeared today, sorry !
