Interesting perspective. When I hear "code switching, " I think of a *necessary* adaptation for marginalized people to navigate a hostile world, protecting those parts of themselves (religion/culture).

This is an interesting concept-I can understand how it is adaptive. We have different relationships in different parts of our lives, and they have different underlying expectations.
