Thanks Bjorn. Took possession of my new Niro EV last week, upgrading from previous generation eNiro. A massive improvement on everything. Kia have polished up all the niggles. The only thing that annoys me is that I can't quickly access the climate screen to turn the heat off. I can't find a way to simply turn the heat off on the main climate button panel. Apart from that it's a fabulous car. I test drove the EV6 and didn't like it. A bit big and clumbsy with hard suspension for Irish roads. The Niro is a perfect sized car.

To see GPS speed in all cars, in "Settings/ Vehicle options" you can activate "show GPS speed".

Great video as always. Keep it up Bjørn!

Great but about the charging speed versus Ariya, the LR Nissan has 7% more range with a 21 % bigger battery. Even if Ariya's is charging faster, the amount of km gained per minute charging may be almost the same.

Great test, as always. Sad that the battery tech/charging is outdated.
I do not think, that it competes with Ariya. Ariya is a lot bigger (18cm longer), and competes with EV6/Ioniq 5.

KIA E NIRO is a very capable car and does everything for its price, but the charging speed is soooo slow. Having said that, many people don't charge on public charges so it doesn't really matter to be honest. However, after selling my eNiro I didn't go for the new Niro EV, I went for Skoda Enyaq for a change 🤔

Nice video as usual.
What an epic car with the option for adjustable regen and ventilated seats for the win. I'm thinking about switching from the inadequate TMY to this one.
I wish my silly Tesla could have lane assist active all the time instead of the autopilot, which is just annoying in the city where I do most of my driving.

I also found out that zero regeneration is not really zero, it still does a bit of regeneration!
I was used to coasting a lot in my Hyundai Ioniq and I was surpriced that the Niro EV was a lot worse at coasting until I set it in Neutral (where the 0, 29 cw Niro was still not as good as the 0, 21 cw Ioniq)

Hey Björn, would be nice if you test mg4. Only 31k and looks realy nice for me actually.

That's what I thought. Its interior looks like the EV6, but the charging is outdated. I was considering switching to the Niro EV, but this simply confirms what I thought already.

I’m very curious how the Renault Megane e-tech will do!

Really disappointed with the pricing of this in Oz with the top spec very close to the bottom spec EV6.

That's amazing, thanks!
Just a minor point- 2.5v is really "under load cell cut-off", unless the pack is the performance one the bms is normally programmed to cut cells earlier. This is needed to protect weaker cells in the series. Still, 3.2v (static) has enough of juice to crawl to the charger.
>4.2v on top rare for traction cells, would be interesting to see the long term retention

E-Niro in Canada as well, when it debuted.

Finally someone giving a review of the audiosystem! It sounds decent.

Agree it feels like a new shell/looks but still same old one underneath (which wasn’t bad 4 years ago, but feeling outdated)

I just did 200kms in my Tesla Y Performance in performance mode from Quebec City and Saguenay city at 109kms with average temperature at 9 Celsius and averaged 151W per km. Reg gaz is 1.69$ per liter and diesel is 2.09$ ! Electric is the way to go. Save energy and environment. The Chinese and Koreans will beat the Japanese to the race for second place.
