used to take my 150 150 upto 12, 000 with the door off ...shutter down ...trim for 500 ft pm decent rate...and eat my lunch in a glider! lol could MCA enough to feed seagulls by hand!..Gosh I used to pity the earthlings below...man those are the best days possible!

I had plenty of fun flying the Piper J-3 with the door and window open in northern Florida. I had access to the J-3 which was my stress relief valve while I was going through Navy Flight School. It was quite a contrast to flying the North American T-28 Trojan I was then flying for the Navy.
