Hey Steve, I've used this method occasionally, usually only on persistent grass in the pavers. A mixture of regular vinegar and salt works well and kills most weeds overnight, however some weeds are resistant to it. My favourite way to weed the pavers is with an LPG blow torch, there's a certain satisfaction to it and it kills seeds too.

good one mate. got exactly same prob. gunna give it a go right now. by the way, i did poison the weeds 2 weeks ago but as per usual, the hortico brand i used to use and worked well has been discontinued. the new stuff just doesn't work. cheers again

I can hear them screaming as their cell structure is ripped apart, Plants have feelings too you know. Viva le vegetation !!,
But seriously, It works a treat on nut grass in paving as well.
One on my kids is really allergic to paspalum seed, it was great for picking it off in a lawn. Great vid mate..

Hiya Steve! I've been conspicuously remiss lately. I've undergone a gamut of follow-up tests and specialist appointments in recent weeks. Seems those pesky doctors are hell-bent on keeping their beady eyes on me! Still, I'd been havin' a right whinge if nobody gave a shite, I suppose! 😂
I was tempted to send you a few bucks so you could buy yeself a bloody spade mate! You're gonna wear out them thongs doin' that, quicker than we can wear out ye name, love!😂
Yep, boiling water is great, as is a mixture of salt, vinegar and washing-up detergent, (although, you really need to "paint" that on to protect the foliage around the weeds.) It's a never-ending endeavour, when you have 8 1/2 acres to deal with! 😫
