Impressive look into some close encounter cases through history. I really enjoyed the format of Steven Greenstreet's "Basement Office" show. Having Nick Pope actually conversing with Steven regarding these cases works spades better than the usual way Pope, as a brief talking head, is usually inserted in so many UFO programs.. The points the two discuss back and forth really add up to a good commentary on the actual reported evidence as well as witness sightings. This sparks my interest instead of insulting my intelligence which on other shows is often a problem. They give factual accounts based on corroborating circumstances and evidence. Excellent, and as this is my first time to see a "Basement Office" episode I will be seeking others.

One night in 1994, I was alone in my parents house. I had gone to bed early. Around 1 a.m. in the morning I was awakened by bright lights being shown on my bedroom window. My thought was that a friend was outside playing a joke on me by shining a flashlight at my wind. I got out of bed and went to the front door to see who it was.

When I opened the front door, I was greeted with what I can only describe as a yoyo shaped craft, hovering just above the trees, there was a bright, blue/white light with a sparkle about it being shown under the craft. Inside that light was a being, it was tall, had human eyes, a narrow nose and thin lips, the arms and legs were long and boney, it's hands had long fingers... I can't remember what it's feet looked like but what struck me the most about this being was the hair, or what looked like hair, it was thick and dreadlock like but smooth and it was like it was pulled behind it's head to it's back.

Now, I'm standing in my door frame... Wondering what exactly I'm looking at and all of a sudden, I get terrified and start thinking of how to escape, run, get away from this thing through my basement sliding door... In that moment, this being spoke to me. Not in the conventional way we talk but spoke to me inside of my head! It said, "Don't be afraid, you don't have to be afraid." I remember in that instant thinking to myself, "I don't have to be afraid."

The next thing I remember, I am waking up in my bedroom and it's 10:30, 11:00 a.m. in the morning (I usually get up before 7 every morning, without exception) and I feel drugged, my right nostril hurts and the inside of it is caked in dried blood... There were no other marks on my body.

To this day I wonder what exactly happened...

Here's a story a friend told me: He said he and his dad went to visit his Uncles (his dads brothers) they were life time farmers. Very Serious men. He said that his uncles did not drink or smoke and they went to church every Sunday. No nonsense men. While they where visiting, talking under a tree, they where sitting and he said that one of his Uncles asked, "do you guy's want to hear what happened to us last month?" My friend and his dad said, "sure, let's hear it." They said they were at a lake, and they were done fishing and it was Twilight. One noticed a bright light in the sky and he told his brother, "look at how bright that is. Is that a star?" he asked his brother, but it got brighter and brighter to the point they ran off behind some bushes out of fear, and they said that a craft landed. No one got out of it, but they did say it had windows that were obscured like a shower door, and they could see shadows moving around in the craft. It was there for about 10 Minutes and it left. True Story, It came from a very reliable source. So I guess that would be a Close Encounter of the Third Kind.

I really like this show, it has such a cool vibe and very thorough. The whole Fox Mulder office setting is genius and I think Nick Pope is always very interesting to listen to. The host is very real too. I hope they have many seasons, I want to believe.

I used to read this stuff for years. This is some of the best information on UFO's I've ever seen. This is the best in the series, in fact this is the 1st episode I've watched completely.
