Growing up is realising the bad guy wasn't Tom but Jerry and If thats the case then I have been a grown up since I was like 4. He was a true asshole and even as a kid I knew it wasn't fair on Tom, very rarely did Tom ever get an actual hit in and even when he did it would be followed up with something worse to him. Yet Jerry is portrayed as the one you root for, screw that noise.
