I have the Steam Deck, the Steam Deck OLED, the Ally, and the Ally X with Bazzite. Ally X with Bazzite is hands down the best handheld I've ever owned and is the only device I've been actually motivated to play anything on.

Yes this video was amazing as I was going to literally go to my local Best Buy just to feel the controllers as i've heard they were tighter, but this video you explained it well and many times so it must feel different than the original. Video's like this are good for your average day gamer that doesn't know much about the tech settings but just wants to play and wants to hear from you how it feels and if you like it. Keep it up please for us average gamers.

Benchmark 1% lows specifically. Between the more and faster RAM, 1% lows are likely to improve more than averages.

I have the original ROG Ally, which I upgraded with a 4TB 2280 SSD, and an ROG Ally X that I upgraded with an 8TB SSD (I also purchased a 1.5TB SD card). I use my original Ally for work and other tasks, while the X is strictly for gaming. I constantly hop between games and don’t like having to uninstall and reinstall them, so having my entire library available whenever I want is great, hence the large ssd and sd card.

Both devices are fantastic. The 8TB SSD was on sale for $549, down from $1, 000, which was less than $200 more than what I paid for my 4TB, so I decided to pull the trigger.

Love, love the Ally X!!! Such a great revised edition compared to last year's debut. This is the most comfortable Windows handheld out there (Steam Deck is still No. 1 in comfort), Micro SD card issues are solved: I can play AAA titles on the card without any issues and am able to download games directly onto it without much of a slowdown (depends on WiFi connection).

The VRR is always fantastic, the speakers are great and the larger battery is such a quality of life improvement and it stays quiet and cool!! Wow! I can't wait to upgrade the SSD to a 4TB and here's an unexpected surprise: when I'm playing a game and hit the power button (set to Win11 Hibernate), most of the time the game will still be able to be resumed without much of glitch where I have to restart the machine (again, this is game depenedent).

For those still wondering to upgrade or buy, don't wait! Asus did a wonderful job on making this version a worthy successor. Maybe Ally 2 could have a bigger OLED screen but as of now, I'm loving the experience!

Debating on getting a Steam Deck OLED or Ally X. I love the UI of the Deck and more “console” feel but that battery and increased performance is amazing on the Ally.

I love the extra Type-C port, I put a 4TB SSD internal and I connect a 4TB External ssd to the extra Type-C port and a 1TB micro SD card. 9TB storage.

Super torn between choosing the Ally X or the Lenovo Legion Go I’m about 50/50 I want the Ally X because I guess it performs better but the Lenovo Legion Go has that bigger and better screen idk help lol

yes user experience without all the tech stuff is great. Or just do 2 video's, one heavy with the tech settings and benchmarks and one with just a straight overall opinion in english!

Hello bro I'm saving up for a handheld PC out of the rog ally x or onexfly. Which one do you think I should get? I'm more worried about the support, like updates and drivers. Battery is not really my concern, and there's one more thing I wanted to ask you, like, let's say my joystick on the onexfly gives out and I need to replace it. You think anywhere here in the USA can fix it, or maybe if I order the part from OnexPlayer, you think they can replace it here for me in the USA.
