#16 Blackstone Griddle Meals While Camping – This Changes Everything! Published June 19, 2020.
In this video, we cook a hot breakfast consisting of bacon and eggs, and multiple dinners (pork chops, grilled corn and potatoes, grilled pineapple, grilled chicken breast) on the Blackstone 17-inch griddle.
This griddle really changed our camping experience. Previously, Jennifer would work for days planning, prepping, and pre-cooking meals, so that we could re-heat meals in the microwave, or have simple meals over the fire (mountain pies, hot dogs, hamburgers, foil packs). We still enjoy those camp fire meals, but having the ability to cook a hot meal fresh with good sides was such a difference. Jennifer did not have to prep and store food. The griddle food was delicious, complete with grilled pineapple dessert. We didn’t add anything to the pineapple. The natural sugars caramelized and the end result was something you’d taste in an expensive restaurant.
We will never camp again without our Blackstone griddle.
