In this video, I discuss linear dependence and independence of vectors. In the context of vectors, linear dependence and independence refer to whether one vector can be expressed as a linear combination of the other vectors. A set of vectors is linearly independent if none of the vectors in the set can be expressed as a linear combination of the other vectors in the set.
