Also, a lot of people forget that your fingers sort of "expand" in heat. Try going to a colder place in your house, it will tighten up your skin, therefore making it easier to pull the ring off.

Edit: Or, you can ice your finger before pulling the ring off!

My tip :
You can use Vaseline on you finger and pull it and push it sometimes and then finally slowly pull it
* DON'T DO THIS IF YOUR FINGER IS SWOLLEN, IT MIGHT NOT WORK *

You should do this when ur finger JUST got stuck

If it's really stuck on there coat your finger and ribbon inn some form of lubricant. I used butter and my string was some fishing line. Mine was stuck on good but after drawing the string tight the butter slipped the ring off after enough tension built up.
