Would you rather be bitten by a Brazilian wandering spider or place your hand in frying oil for 3 seconds?

"This species can grow as large as 2 inches" Oh that's a little smaller than I expected
"- with the legs adding another 6 inches to its figure" God help us

Whenever I eat Bananas, I would always check for any nests so I don't eat a stray spider/Brazilian wandering spider😂

Your pronunciation of the other Latin-American countries was absolutely perfect! Extremely well done, sir! I know it seems like a minor thing, and it kind of is, but to me, that small detail really stood out and I felt it was worth mentioning and complimenting.
Btw, I really do enjoy your videos and always find them quite informative. Thank you for all the effort that you put into them, it's very much appreciated darlin'! 👍

The male is not totally useless after mating, it is a wonderful source of protein for the female and both the male's and female's eventual future offspring.
Otherwise, the female would not waste her precious energy, attacking the male.

10:15 I find that quite fascinating. It means when the spider bites it is consciously NOT using its venom.
This denotes intelligence and thinking.

Why do these spiders always end up in the UK?. Are we the only nation eating bananas or are the spiders trying to get in on the free 4 star hotel rooms we give out to all and sundry

I live in Maine and had a nest on a banana that was in the middle of a bunch purchased from Sams Club about a week ago. These bananas came from Columbia. I had suspected it was either mold or a possible cocooned insect on the outer skin, so I was scraping it off originally in the sink. The sac opened and eggs fell out. The sink made a relatively controlled environment, and most of the eggs were washed away. I forgot about the banana spiders until the eggs fell out. There were not that many eggs overall, probably about 15. I still have 3 eggs that did not get damaged, and the empty sac. They are in a small sealed container. I want to see what kind of spiders they are if they do hatch. It appears that they should hatch in a few weeks if they are going to.
