I’d definitely prefer the manual turbo, but Doug is kinda right. If he’s just gonna be driving it around, the automatic makes sense from a practicality and comfort standpoint. And I doubt he’s gonna be trying to push 1000+ hp out of it so there’s no need for the GTE. Doug doesn’t seem like the type of guy to modify a car, but even if he wanted more power he could throw on a decent turbo kit and push around 400-500 pretty reliably on stock internals while keeping an automatic transmission.

I kinda see what Doug is saying. You can get fairly decent NA auto for like 23k. It still isn't cheap but hey, it's still a supra that you can toss around without worrying about destroying a super desirable car. Yeah you can get an SC300 for like half the price but it isn't as cool.

A truth the car community wants to forget is that the supra was a GT car not a sports car. The thing is too heavy and handles like a boat. Not surprised loads have autos

Some people want a car that they love and can drive every day, not everyone wants to drive a manual every day man just get over it and they are way cheaper to buy, the supra manual is to over hipe, go ahead Doug buy the auto to most it will still be a pretty cool car

Not gonna lie i kinda like the shifter on the automatic. It looks like fighterjet its amazing. Taking that and the fact the auto supra doesn't suffer hard form tofu rax, i would deffenitly buy one.
