I got mine back in 2007. Cost me roughly $8000. But it needed a lot of work. I stripped it down completely replaced all of the interior put louvered vendors on it wide body kit. Upgraded the brakes and suspension. Had the motor completely rebuilt stage 2. At the transmission completely rebuilt. I would say I'm close to $80000 in the hole with it. But probably one of my most fun cars to drive. The only car that I like motor drive is my 2019 Subaru STI with probably about 40 grand in mods.

As of today, September 2022 a regular N/A Mk4 in decent shape is currently going for upwards of 80k and that's N/A. stock. Love Those cars but yeah safe to say that most of us won't be picking one up any time soon

Buddy got his for 22k and spent about 14k in mods, enjoyed it for a few years at 850hp and Sold it for 70k damn good investment!👍🏽

I remember when I was a kid I would go on auto trader and look up prices on these. They used to go anywhere from 10 to 15k for a twin turbo one with about 100k miles. Next thing you now they hit 20s then 30s and they are just going to go wayy up
