Dr. Berg talks about a loud Pounding Pulse Rate. This interferes with sleep. This is a potassium deficiency. Potassium controls the character of the pulse and rate itself.

Potassium Deficiencies:
1. Excessive glucose (sugar)
2. Stress

Yes doc. I used to hear my heart beat in my ear and I consulted a cardiologist for that and to my shock he told me your ear is dirty that’s why it is happening and sent me for EEG. What a shame.
But as I heard dr. Berg I increased my vegetable consumption now from last week I am noticing this problem is gone.Thank you soo soo much Dr. Berg.

I had pounding pulses last night. So I ate an avocado and drank a small glass of beet juice 150mls. I also took Magnesim citrate 150 mg before bed. They seemed to stop my pounding pulses. Unfortunately my BP went up slightly high than usual 156/ 85 . Pulse was 108. When I got up they returned to my normal: BP 135/80. Pulses 76. Thanks so much Dr. Berg. You are my health educator😍

I've been on IF and Keto for 4 weeks, lost 6kgs and my resting heart rate has dropped down to 58. I also now never hear my heart rate on the pillow anymore, where as I used to hear it all the time.

Wow, perfect timing. I am fasting now and on the 3rd day of the fast, I went to bed and could hear my heartbeat on my pillow. I've drank an electrolyte water and some coconut water and don't get that anymore.

Drinking WAAAAY too much water can also deplete potassium, I experienced that one day last summer, heart was POUNDING outta my chest and then I felt very weak I drank about 2 gallons of water that day.

Quick update. I have also came to learn that I wasn't eating enough protein and still working out rather heavily. That put my body into over-train mode and was impacting my heart and my sleep. After I reduced the regimen to 2 heavy workouts a week and 1.5 grams of protein per Kilogram of my body per day and solid 8 hour sleep daily my condition is pretty much returned to normal health.

Now I understand why you do what you do. I don’t understand why doctors are misleading people and it makes me scared to trust another dr then yourself I learn so much from you!

My ears both are stopped up and I can hear my heartbeat when laying down. Scared me so bad last night because I had forgotten for just a split second. I need to let the sugar go for sure. Thanks Doc! Going to get potassium.

I had this problem and it was very scary. So I started eating more potassium rich food ( like you said).I asked my doctor to do blood work to see if my level was fine, it was. I haven't had this problem since. Thx Dr. Berg.

Is it just me or is de Eric berg the only person that actually gives a solution that you can instantly start doing at home rather than, expecting you to get medications from doctors?

I developed this recently on the left side. Turned out a filling from one of the top left molars had fallen out which caused slight inflammation of the surrounding area. So I suppose tooth/gum problems is a possible cause too.
