I am currently at the hospital as we speak about this same issue. The doc said it's caused by Premature ventricular contractions or PVC's. These are extra, abnormal heartbeats that begin in the ventricles, or lower pumping chambers, and disrupt your regular heart rhythm, sometimes causing you to feel a skipped beat or palpitations. He was saying that it is completely normal and that it happens all the time. I don't smoke, drink, consume much caffeine, eat too much fast food, or sweets so he said if I did that's what I'd need to cut out. I hope this helps because I took off work for this during COVID-19 good thing these docs weren't trippin. I am 20 years of age by the way.

For the first time ever in my life I woke up at 4:05 in the morning with my heart rate way higher than usual. I wasn't able to time it but it was pounding and racing. I was laying on my left side and as soon as I stopped laying on my left side my heart went normal again. It was kinda scary since never had this happen before. I'm thinking it's just anxiety because I've been dealing with alot in the last 5 months. Our family pet passed away, we tried to rescue some birds but they didn't survive, my grandpa passed away, 2 days after our pet died my husband burned his hand to 2nd degree and rushes him to hospital and just 4 days ago I was called about my brother being attacked. Someone had stabbed him, beat him and burned him. He is in hospital in a seduced comma and it's going to take months of recovery if he covers as he is in critical condition so that's why I'm thinking this is just anxiety attack.

It seems I have palpitations, arrhythmias and 90-140 heart rate. It’s horrible because I know they happened yet the doctor doesn’t, they happen when the doctor isn’t present but the heart rate is usually like this all the time.

Ive been test for a thyroid function test and it's said normal. Then ECG and 2d echo, and it's normal. I don't know why my heart beat so fast.
