Narcissists and Coercive Control

I find myself becoming a stronger person each day in the fact that I'm not afraid to be true to myself and if any Narcissist doesn't like it ts their problem.Having boundaries gives you a baseline in which to work from. 🍒

When I would talk with my mother on the phone he would softly say "Your mother wants to hang up."

My mom did this to me throughout my lifetime. Then I ended up being kidnapped by some guy 3 years ago and nearly left for dead. Left to my moms in Montana as she made sure the men who found me put me on a plane in my most vulnerable state because this guy was literally trying to kill me for finding a phone and getting away, calling the police and putting him in jail. For 3 years, my mom abused me physically and emotionally. I finally got out and I’m back in Los Angeles taking care of my dad. Then, the guy who kidnapped me found me and didn’t leave me alone. Things have gotten messy, to say the least. But now they’re getting better.

Terror, coercion, abuse, and whatever else.

It’s all very real.

When this is happening in your family is the worst, because they isolate you from the world and actually you do not have a support system!

Then, I met a guy. He was a narcissist, and I was able to set boundaries and he left. Trying to keep me as a “friend” and I told him no. Trying to “make love to me” and I told him no. That wasn’t the most fun thing as the month after was a living hell. Surprisingly, he’s the one that led me to this channel.

I’m seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.

But I’m hurt. Really hurt. I stopped speaking to my mom after watching your videos and starting the 7 day challenge. I told her I didn’t appreciate her threats and disrespect so I needed space. She hasn’t called me since.

I’m on day 2 but I hate being on camera so I haven’t recorded the video that’s at the end of the lesson but I will today as I wanna finish.

Thank you for the video! You explained things so well! It was almost like you knew the narcissist I know but I guess NPD carries the same bottom line for any narcissist although traits might be displayed differently.
But, going no contact with these ppl is soo hard when you’re bent on loving them and always being there for them! 😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞

I'm at the point I'd don't know who the narcissistic is. Myself or her. I see my behaviors clearly. But, I also see hers. You've been the only source that ever showed me hope for a narcissistic to heal. Went 4 monthes, then opened communication again. She seems happy having her old life back. I'm still struggling horribly. Divorced 2 years. She claims to still love me. The only answer is to blame myself.

There’s a small part im leaving out, as it is HUMILIATING. But, let’s just say, narcissists are not ones to mess with. The red flags aren’t the normal every day red flags. I want to say “he was rebounding because he misses me”, but I don’t wanna lie. I’ve lived in a delusion long enough.

I’ll probably make a one on one after the 7 days.

I wish my siblings would open their eyes to my mother about this, but people can't see things until they're hurt enough and as long as I'm around to get the brunt of it thru won't catch the hell that I do.

Who are you guys? There is a ton of actors that tries to milk money on this topic, and the info tend to be a bit circular. Also, many people just get stuck in in the topic, never to lift focus, never to really fight for justice. Often times, people remain consumed by the narc and his affect, for the rest of their life, as they get stuck in it, and do not leave the topic, in search of light and love. Not really sure who you guys are?

Please note, that I live in a society, that don't even have a description of what Coercive Control is. There is not even a concept of it, in my culture.
